From the historic streets of Bombay to the heart of the UK, Safa Essence is the culmination of a 100-year legacy.

The Safa Essence story didn’t begin in a laboratory, but in the vibrant perfume markets of 1921 British India. It was there that our founder’s grandfather Moulvi Abdul Karim Sylhety  established one of the oldest licensed perfume houses in India—a tradition of aromatic craftsmanship that has been preserved and perfected for over a century.

Three Generations of Mastery

Our founder, Mr. Harun Ur Rashid, is the proud guardian of this third-generation heritage. Mentored by his legendary uncle, the late Khalil Moulvi (Khalil Set), Harun was raised in the "old world" of perfumery—where the quality of a scent was determined by the purity of the raw ingredient and the patience of the distiller.
